WYNFORD DEWHURST, R.B.A. (BRITISH, 1864-1941)

The Back Garden is possibly a depiction of the artist's own residence in Hampstead. Both in composition and in style, this is a quintessential Dewhurst work, and reflects the artist's admiration for both Emile Claus and Henri Le Sidaner.
