A handsome copy of the rare first edition, first issue. The later issue (Tooley 71) carries a title with 'thirty-three' instead of 'one hundred' plates, and 'Vol.I' is deleted. Folio (471 x 332mm). Volume I (all published). Half-title, title, 33 aquatint plates, coloured by a contemporary hand, by Atkinson. Modern three-quarter red morocco gilt, title gilt lettered in cartouche on upper side.
