Shaped oblong, on four large winged lion's paw feet, the gadrooned rim with shells motifs at intervals, the double scroll reeded handles with pendant foliate grapevine, engraved with a coat-of-arms, within foliate scroll mantling, marked underneath

The arms are those of Coote, for Sir Charles Henry Coote, 9th Bt. (1792-1864).
