STATUE D'AMITAYUS EN BRONZE DORÉ
CHINE, DYNASTIE QING, DATÉE DE L'ANNÉE CYCLIQUE XINSI DU RÈGNE DE L'EMPEREUR QIANLONG (1736-1795), CORRESPONDANT À 1761
Il est représenté assis en vajrasana sur une base rectangulaire ajourée, ses mains jointes en dhynamudra, devant une mandorle flammée. Il est vêtu d'une robe dévoilant son épaule droite et une partie de son buste. Son corps est paré de bijoux. Ses yeux mi-clos et sa bouche légèrement souriante confèrent à son visage une expression sereine. Ses cheveux sont relevés en un chignon derrière une couronne richement ouvragée. La base porte l'inscription incisée Da Qing Qianlong Xin Si Nian [1761] Jing Zao.
