CHINE, DYNASTIE QING, MARQUE A SIX CARACTERES DANS UN DOUBLE CERCLE EN BLEU SOUS COUVERTE ET EPOQUE KANGXI (1662-1722)
La coupe aux bords légèrement évasés est délicatement peinte d'un côté de fleurs de chrysanthèmes émergeant des rochers et des herbes emblématiques de l'automne représentant le neuvième mois et de l'autre d'une inscription poétique Qian zai bai yi jiu; yi sheng qing nu xiang.

Specialist note

This delicately potted cup depicting flowering chrysanthemums and butterflies, accompanied by a complementary two-lined poem, represents the ninth month of the year.
The couplet on the present cup translates as follows: ‘The memory of enjoying wine while admiring a chrysanthemum,
Lasts for a thousand years.’
