The recent works by the Roman artist denounce the occurred further development of those postulates enunciated a few years ago; moreover, a greater calm, an ever more complete maturity, are manifested. In his chromatic textures, whose meshes are becoming increasingly more sparse in this last period, each colour is taken in pure bands, thus acquiring a life of its own where it intersects with other pure bands, creating and healing fractures completing each other, integrating in a tight language, of vital and incisive discursiveness. The polychrome band, time after time warp and weft of continuous spatial textures, is assumed as a variable module whose pre-eminent function is to subdivide the backgrounds into the various speaking and dialoguing spaces according to the rigid syntax that colour, always caught in its maximum light, imposes to follow in order to reach a tone in which the visual melody becomes a continuous rhythmic bounce masterfully linked by chromatic chords, pauses, caesuras and new melodic developments.
