"Color is like a character. You do not choose it; it appears. When I am in front of my canvas, whatever comes to me, I do. Though I sometimes make studies before working on a canvas, more often the ideas come to me and I put them directly on the canvas. I am not a calculating person. What I learned at art school was the technique of emotions. I learned how to let my spirit, ideas and inspiration guide me." - Aboudia
