In subject and style, this drawing can be compared to a drawing, also depicting the Adoration of the Magi, probably by the great Netherlandish painter Gossaert but retouched by a later hand, and dated to the later 1510s, in the Robert Lehman Collection at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (inv. 1975.1.832; see S.
