Specialist note

Reference 2424 was produced starting in 1946 until the early 1950's. The model is distinguished by its unusual flame-shaped lugs. Also nicknamed amongst collectors "the flame", an obvious choice given the shape of its lugs. Ref. 2424 is probably Patek Philippe's most eye-catching design ever chosen for a square model.
