Specialist note

Patek Philippe Ref. 823
The Ref. 823 was first released in 1947, as a regular hunting case with a variety of decorations available. The reference is only released in yellow gold and according to research, less than a dozen pieces were made. The decorations on the watch could vary from miniature scenes, portraits, champleve patterns, and other engraved decorations. Some watches are only decorated on one face while others have both watch faces decorated.
