Specialist note

Hermès exotic lizard skin is precious, rare and exquisite. This skin is identifiable by a ‘-’ as Niloticus lizard skin, or ‘=’ sign as Salvator lizard skin, next to the Hermès logo. The screening criteria is extremely strict, and the size of lizard skin is small and often not even enough to make small leather goods. The size of lizard skin handbags is often relatively petite. This is why handbags made of lizard skin are very rare.
