DIAMOND RING, ATTRIBUTED TO VAN CLEEF & ARPELS
Marquise brilliant-cut diamond of 7.75 carats, pear-shaped diamonds, platinum and 18k white gold (U-shaped ring sizer), beige Van Cleef & Arpels pouch

GIA, 2022, report no. 2225664883: 7.75 carats, D colour, VVS1 clarity, potentially Internally Flawless

Size/Dimensions: US ring size 6 1/4
Gross weight: 6.1 grams

Although not signed, by family tradition the marquise-cut diamond of 7.75 carats and its mount were selected by the late Pierre Arpels (1919 - 1980), co-owner of Van Cleef & Arpels. The stone originally weighed 8.42 carats and was re-cut to 7.75 carats as specified on the invoice dated 4th November 1970.
