The present watch is a lovely example of the Daytona reference 116519. Nicknamed the 'Daytona Beach', the model was available in four colors: green, blue, pink and yellow with dials made of turquoise, green chalcedony as well as yellow and pink mother-of-pearl and came with lizard straps matching the dial colour. These watches truly emphasizes Rolex's ability to display signs of eccentricity. An instant classic, the Daytona Beach is one of the most collectible modern versions of the Daytona.
