McDermott & McGough est un tandem d’artistes constitué de David McDermott et Peter McGough. Pluridisciplinaires, ils ont notamment marqué la scène artistique des années 1980 et 1990 par le détournement de techniques de photographies (cyanotype, bichromate de gomme, sel, carbo tricolore, platine, palladium). Explorant divers sujets, ils s’intéressent entre autres à la culture, la religion, la médecine ou encore la mode et les comportements sexuels. Ils ont fait l'objet d'expositions individuelles et collectives dans des institutions telles que le Whitney Museum of American Art, le Centre Pompidou ou encore l’Irish Museum of Modern Art.
