Very much influenced by the cultural melting pot of his city, Valparaiso, or by the syncretic indigenous and Spanish heritage of his country, Inti constantly refers to pre-Hispanic America in his works; Inti is in fact the name of an ancient Inca sun deity. He also often depicts the Kusillo, a Bolivian carnival character dressed in a patchwork of colourful fabrics, characteristic of Bolivian and Andean culture.
