Artist's Resale Right ("Droit de Suite"). Artist's Resale Right Regulations 2006 apply to this lot, the buyer agrees to pay us an amount equal to the resale royalty provided for in those Regulations, and we undertake to the buyer to pay such amount to the artist's collection agent. This lot has been donated to Comic Relief by Sir Quentin Blake prior to the sale and, accordingly, (if the lot is sold) 100% of the hammer price will be paid to Comic Relief, which is the operating name of Charity Projects, a charity registered in England and Wales with number 326568 and in Scotland with number SC039730. Christie’s has agreed to waive any vendor commission in respect of the sale of the lot; however, a buyer’s premium will still be charged in accordance with Section D of the applicable Conditions of Sale, which will be retained by Christie’s.
