Comprenant une paire de cuillères à fruits à bordure perlée, les bols repoussés de fruits et feuilles, gravées du monogramme 'HAW' dans écrin d'origine, une paire de cuillères à sel, modèle uni-plat et une cuillère à stilton, modèle avec enroulements, toutes gravées du monogramme 'HAW', deux cuillères à moutarde gravées d'enroulements et du cimier des Warfield pour l'une et des initiales 'MHW' pour l'autre, la pince à asperges gravée des initiales 'OB to SHM', poinçons et estampilles: titre, lettre-date (S) et orfèvre

Wallis Simpson, née Bessie Wallis Warfield (1896-1986), était la fille de Teackle Wallis Warfield et Alice Montague. Tous deux venaient de familles de notables du Sud des États-Unis: son père, originaire du Maryland est le cadet d'une famille établie aux États-Unis depuis 1662 alors que sa mère originaire de Virginie était la fille d'un homme d'affaires et ancien agent de change.



Wallis Simpson, born Bessie Wallis Warfield (1896-1986) was the daughter of Teackle Wallis Warfield and Alice Montague both from wealthy Southern families. Her father was the youngest of a family from Maryland established in the United States since 1662. Her mother was from Virginia and the daughter of a businessman and stockbroker.
