Sur pied évasé, le corps tronconique appliqué de pièces 12 Mariengroschen et d'un Thaler daté 1664, le couvercle à doucine et le fond appliqués d'un Thaler de 1595 et 1598, gravé postérieurement sur le fond d'une inscription et sous le bord du pied 'I.Z.5', poinçons sur le pied: maître-orfèvre et trace de poinçon

L'inscription sur le fond: 'Presented to H.H. Hollister by the Executive Committee of the Riding Club, for his long and faithful services as President 1881-1901'.

Les pièces de monnaie ont été frappées dans la principalité de Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel (1635 - 1713) sous le règne de Rodolphe-Auguste (1627-1704), duc de Brunswick-Lunebourg et prince de Wolfenbüttel de 1666 à sa mort, ce qui permet de dater approximativement et de localiser la fabrication de la chope.
