Domaine Gentaz-Dervieux is arguably the most revered and iconic name in Côte-Rôtie. The Domaine no longer exists, the vineyards now under the control of Rene Rostaing, but those fortunate enough to taste exceptional old bottles, never forget them. Marius Gentaz, who sadly passed away in 2011, was the gifted winemaker who led the estate, and using ancient vine Syrah located on the prestigious Côte Brune, created magical, profound and timeless wines.
