Portfolio of twelve photogravures made by means of the Talbot-Klic process, each plate pulled on the presses of Atelier de Taille Douce of Saint-Prex, Switzerland; each approximately 10 1⁄8 x 8 in. (25.7 x 20.3) or the inverse; each sheet 19 7⁄8 x 15 1⁄4 in. (50.5 x 38.7 cm.); together with title page, plate list and text by Beaumont Newhall and Mary Steichen Calderone MD.; number thirty-seven from an edition of one thousand, plus one hundred artist’s proofs; prints contained inside a paper enclosure and an Indian tussah silk and Curtis Tweedweave folio and slipcase with gold lettering.
