Case: Inside case back stamped 16500, 40 mm. diam.
With: Stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet and deployant clasp stamped M5 78360, overall length approximately 180 mm.
Remark: Very rare 'Floating' Cosmograph dial

Specialist note

Offered in very good overall condition, the present reference 16520 represents a truly rare opportunity for the Rolex collector to acquire an highly attractive example of the Daytona chronograph with 'floating dial'.

The 'floating dial' shows the designation 'Cosmograph' with a marked distance from the previous 'Superlative Chronometer' and 'Officially Certified' lines. In later dial versions the designation Cosmograph is found immediately below the other descriptive lines.
