W. HARDING (FL. 1787-1792)

The present drawing was engraved by Francesco Bartolozzi as an illustration to Samuel Richardson's The History of Sir William Hamilton. An impression of the print is in the British Museum (1859,0709.757), as are three drawings by Harding for other literary publications, also engraved by Bartolozzi (1874,0509.39, 1874,0509.40, 1874,0509.41).
