Specialist note


The Soviet poet Aleksandr Prokofyev received the picture Lusha as a gift on his fiftieth birthday. Prokofyev wrote a letter dated 21 February 1951 to Fedot Sychkov telling the artist how how much he liked the picture. (Published in L. Bukina and M. Surina (eds.), Fedot Vasilievich Sychkov.
