HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE CELLAR OF A EUROPEAN CONNOISSEUR
The following lots represent the private collection of a notable European connoisseur, who has been involved in the wine industry for several decades. The wines were purchased on release and stored in the collector’s personal cellar thereafter. The range of wines is impressive and varied. The greatest estates of the Médoc and Pomerol are well-represented in top vintages and legendary Rhône wines, but it is really in the great wines of the Côte d’Or that collectors' focus will be. Many top producers are included in the roll call – DRC, Leroy, Rousseau, Meo-Camuzet and Grivot to name but several. The Domaine which offers greatest riches here though is Domaine Louis Jadot. We are delighted to be offering a stellar selection of wines with vintages back to the late 1980’s, several of which are in magnum. This exceptional line-up features examples which represent the pinnacle of winemaking at this estate, which is wellknown for having some of the greatest vineyard holdings in the whole of Burgundy.
