"Very hot summer, lots of grapes were sun-burned. Pinot noir especially. 55% Chardonnay / 45% Pinot Noir. Normally the % of PN would be higher, towards 50%. Golden-yellow color. Very nice hazelnut aromas on the nose, buttery fine and expressive. Brioche tone on the first quite complex start of taste, some oxidation, spicy and widening. Rich taste ending with fine acidity. Way more complex than the Grande Cuvee. Very good. March 2012. Especially the nose is beautiful." - Edwin Vos
