A CARVED AND PAINTED WOOD HEART IN HAND LODGE SYMBOL

The heart in hand is a symbol of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. It represents the Order’s values of love and charity. Carvings similar to this example are often found mounted on staffs that a Conductor would use to lead ceremonies and tours of a lodge.
