Specialist note

WNET-TV (Channel 13) in New York, a public broadcasting station, commissioned this print from the artist to raise funds for arts programming. Ruscha was the third artist (following Sam Francis and Robert Rauschenberg) in the Art for Thirteen project, launched in 1989.
