A LARGE BRONZE 'GARLIC-MOUTH' VASE
LATE MING DYNASTY, 17TH CENTURY
The bottle vase has a compressed bulbous body and a tall straight neck rising to a lobed garlic shape beneath the circular mouth rim. A sinuous chilong is coiled around the neck, and the vase is raised on an integral tiered stand.
