Antony Gormley previously donated cast-iron sculpture, Another Time X (2009) to Maggie’s Fife. In 2019, a set of bollards by the artist were also installed alongside Maggie’s Cardiff.
Antony Gormley has said poignantly, ‘… the whole way that I have approached the body is as a space, not a thing - not an object to be improved, idealised or whatever, but simply to be dwelt in. Art is the means by which we communicate what it feels like to be alive.'
