EARLY 19TH CENTURY
With circular bleu turquin marble top and platform, the pierced gallery above a brass-banded panelled frieze on incurved supports headed by lion mask and ring handles and terminating in paw feet and castors, the underside with partial paper label 'Excellenz von Schallehn... Berlin'

Specialist note

A very closely related table with identical pierced gallery and lion mask ring handles was sold anonymously at Christie's, London, 16 November 1995, lot 354.
