Lot 12 C’est en 1827 qu’ouvre le premier atelier de la maison de joaillerie dirigée par Monsieur Rocher puis Jean-Baptiste Noury. Reconnue pour la qualité de son travail et l’élégance de ses dessins, la maison Noury impose rapidement son style. Elle remporte plusieurs récompenses dont une médaille lors de la prestigieuse exposition universelle de 1878. Georges Mauboussin, neveu des Noury rejoint son oncle et reprend l’entreprise familiale en 1898 qui deviendra plus tard la maison Mauboussin.
The first workshop of the jewelry house run by Monsieur Rocher and then Jean-Baptiste Noury opened in 1827. Known for the quality of its work and the elegance of its designs, the Noury house quickly imposed its own style. It won several awards, including a medal at the prestigious Universal Exhibition of 1878. Georges Mauboussin, nephew of the Noury family, joined his uncle and took over the family business in 1898, which later became the Mauboussin company.
