Il est représenté couché sur ses quatre pattes, sa tête délicatement sculptée est tournée vers l'arrière. Il tient un long branchage de lingzhi dans sa gueule courant le long de son dos.
Longueur: 8,5 cm. (3 3/8 in.), socle en zitan

Specialist note

Compare a similar example, holding a prunus blossom in its mouth instead of lingzhi as in the present lot, in the Seattle Art Museum, illustrated by James C.W. Watt, Chinese Jades from the Collection of the Seattle Art Museum, no.56, p.81.
