Specialist note

A prize for any seasoned collector. Almost 30 years ago, the owner contacted the highly prestigious retailer Beyer of Zurich to discover more information about the watch. Patek Philippe supplied Beyer with the archival details which were passed on to the owner.

Its appeal is further enhanced by its well preserved condition. The case exhibits the distinctive blue patination of the gold that only develops after many years of being carefully stored away and unworn.

Reference 130
The reference 130 is one of Patek Philippe's landmark models, The first chronograph to be given a reference number, it was launched in 1934 and remained in production until the 1960s. Distinguished by its timeless design, the model remains an icon of vintage production. Distinguished by its timeless ‘Calatrava’ design, the model was available in different precious metals as well as in stainless steel.
