Specialist note

Rolex has already proven a pioneer in mixing exclusivity with sporty appeal: in the 1980s they released the bejewelled manual Daytonas references 6269 and 6270, and over the 1990s some trials were made with the Zenith Daytonas as well.

The Daytona chronograph 116568BR impresses with the quality of the gem-setting to the case and dial. With baguette-cut diamonds studded bezel and diamond-set numerals dial, the wristwatch displays the talent and the level of skills Rolex has in creating such technically challenging and lavishly-set timepieces.
