Specialist note

Offered in excellent overall condition, the present timepiece features a cloisonné enamel dial by renowed enamel artist Muriel Sechaud - inspired by the works of American naturalist and painter John J. Audubon and his book Birds of America. The Birds of America collection was a series of ten watches depicting ten different birds and made in 10 examples each (for an other example of "Birds of America", please see lot 2267).
