Bolin, Moscow, 1908-1917, with later Soviet marks; the trompe l'oeil oval box, chased to simulate birch tree bark, maker's mark indistinct, Moscow, 1871; an egg-shaped box and an egg-shaped cup, one marked 'PJS', St Petersburg, circa 1890; the napkin ring, engraved with the cypher of Alexandra Feodorovna and dated 1916, mark of Maria Sokolova, Moscow, circa 1916; the niello tray, decorated with a city view and floral motifs, mark of M. Dmitriev, Moscow, 1866
