Case: circular case, snap on back, hinged within a United States of America Twenty Dollar coin, front with the Lady of Liberty and dated 1904, bald eagle to the reverse, 35 mm. diam., inner case signed
With: original Rolex Geneva description and retail price (CHF 9’690) dated 19 March 2002 and black and white archival photograph

Specialist note

The original Rolex letter dated 19 March 2002 and addressed to the owner of the present watch states: "The watch ref. 3612/8 price CHF9,690 consists of an authentic 20 Dollar coin, 22K pink gold, dial with paintend Roman numerals. The coins are from 1904 or older. Please find enclosed the list of our retailers as well as a black and white image of the watch. We hope that you will decide to take this beautiful model and wish you all the best for the future".

The gold mount and chain have been later added but can easily be removed if wished.
