Note du spécialiste

“In Gade’s many anonymous geometrical houses, which catalyse colour and composition, and in which people seem to be closeted with their pent-up frustrations, he mirrors the small-town lives of the period.” (Y. Dalmia, ‘Modernism Reinvented in Bombay, The Art of the Progressives’, Modern Indian Painting, Jane & Kito de Boer Collection, Ahmedabad, 2019. p. 134)
