The arms are those of Bouverie impaling Sneyd, for William Arundell Bouverie (1797-1877), rector of Denton and his wife Frances (1798-1884), daughter of Walter Sneyd of Keele, whom he married in 1831. William was the grandson of William Bouverie, 1st Earl of Radnor (1725-1776). His wife Frances was maid of honour to Queen Adelaide.
