The present ref. 1747 is preserved in very good condition and features a case back engraved with the names of the most famous and aristocratic clients of Abraham-Louis Breguet.

Abraham-Louis Breguet is considered the forefather of modern watchmaking. Most of the complications still in use today were pioneered or perfected starting from crude previous effort by this genius watchmaker. The spirit of Breguet lives on in the modern creations of the company that bears his name, which after more than two and a half centuries is still regarded as one of the most distinguished watchmaking brands.
