Specialist note

The present L.U.C 1860 is preserved in very good original overall condition. It is number 014 of the limited edition of 100 examples.

Launched in 1997 the L.U.C 1860 (initials of the firm’s founder Louis-Ulysse Chopard) immediately surprised the watch world with its highly technical and aesthetic standards of its caliber 1.96. Furthermore it features a handmade guilloché gold dial with applied indexes and a simple yet elegant case. The model was nominated “Watch of the Year 1997” by the Swiss magazine Montres Passion/Uhrenwelt.
