CIRCA 1754-80, BLUE, BROWN AND GILT INTERLACED LL MARK ENCLOSING VARIOUS DATE LETTERS AND PAINTERS' MARKS, INCISED LETTERS AND NUMERALS
Painted with bouquets of flowers within blue-feathered or blue-line and gilt-dash borders, comprising: a large oval soup-tureen, cover and a stand, a smaller oval tureen, cover and a stand, a pair of sauceboats, a pair of oval sugar-bowls and covers on fixed stands, four two-handled bottle-coolers and three zinc liners, a footed ice-cup stand and six ice-cream cups, a pair of triple-salt cellars, a pair of single salt cellars, two mustard-pots including one Vincennes example and twenty-five plates
The largest tureen stand 18 in. (45.7 cm.) wide

This extensive composite dinner and dessert-service bears date letters ranging from A for circa 1754 on a Vincennes mustard-pot to cc for 1780 on one of the Sèvres ice-cups, as well as numerous painter's marks.
