Specialist note

Consigned by the original owner, the present ref. 1803 is a very well preserved representative of the famous model, featuring a stunning ox blood stella dial with an unusual big logo strap. The dial and the big logo bracelet are however only part of the charm and appeal of this timepiece, impressive also because of its condition: the full case wonderfully retains its proportions and the dial is simply breathtaking.


Rolex lacquered dials, better known as stella, are unanimously acknowledged as among the most attractive and intriguing dials ever produced. Available in a plethora of colors, they never fail to entice novice as well as seasoned collectors. The present example features the attractive oxblood stella dial, one of the most understated, elegant and attractive incarnations of the stella dial.
