Specialist note

The present watch is part of a limited edition of 1971 examples introduced in 2011 to commemorate the Apollo 15 mission in 1971. It was the first mission to use a Lunar Roving Vehicle. The case back is therefore engraved with a Lunar Lander in recognition of this feat.
