Launched in 2011 with the aim of creating timepieces able to withstand athletic lifestyles, F.P. Journe’s “LineSport” collection offers wristwatches made of ultralight resistant materials with highly sophisticated movements.
Originally entirely in aluminum, F.P. Journe decided to use titanium as material of choice for the cases and bracelets.
Providing the same lightness benefits with increased strength and subtleness, the present wristwatch weighs a total of approximately 70 grams.
The cal. 1300.3 movement maintains high technical standards. Made entirely from aluminum alloy, the automatic caliber 1300.3 features four adjustable inertia weights, free sprung balance, instant-jump date indication, an off-center rotor with tungsten perimeter weight to maximize winding efficiency, and a power reserve of 160 +/- 10 hours.
