Reference 5125
Launched in 2003 to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the German retailer Wempe and their excellent relationship with Patek Philippe, reference 5125 was made in a total of only 475 pieces: 125 pieces for each gold colour, and 100 pieces for the platinum version. It was available with either English calendar, like the present version, or German calendar. So far, only little more than 20 yellow gold examples have appeared on the market publically.
The design of the reference 5125 was inspired by the legendary references 3448 and 3450, interestingly and conferring even greater exclusivity, the caliber 315/203 (S QA LU) was never used on any other reference.
