Of curved outline, each upholstered in buttoned yellow silk, on brass paw caps and castors, redecorated to simulate rosewood
Each 30 ¾ in. (78 cm.) high; 46 in. (117 cm.) wide; 14 in. (36 cm.) deep

Either inherited or acquired by David R. Somervell and at Holly House, Montrose, and by descent until sold:

This model of window seat and its possible Scottish origin, suggests a possible relationship to the seat furniture supplied by the Edinburgh firm of William Trotter.
