Reference 3990 was in production between 1995 and 2005 and was replaced by reference 5971. Made in yellow, white, and pink gold as well as platinum, this watch represents the first time Patek Philippe made a complicated jewel-set watch in series. Only a few hundred of the reference 3990 was made in its twenty year history.
