The Tank wristwatch is unisex, it has been favoured by movie stars, royalty and first ladies alike, since its creation in 1917. It was designed by Louis Cartier, inspired by the thread of a Renault tank. The first ever Tank wristwatch was given as a present to General John J. ‘Black Jack’ Pershing, an American soldier that served on the Western Front in World War I.
