DONALD CLAFLIN
Born in 1935, Donald Claflin studied design at the Parsons School of Design in New York and began his career as an illustrator and textile designer. He decided to move on to the world of jewellery first with David Webb and then at Tiffany & Co. in 1965, where he designed his most iconic pieces for eleven years. Donald Claflin is famous for his witty and whimsical figurative jewels, as illustrated by lot 104.
